My bro just referred me to this ultra rare track of David Lee Roth singing Take Sarava in Portuguese. David Lee Roth needs no introduction but the song Take Sarava does. Take Sarava is a song by Silvia Torres on the album, Brasileiro. The song is very smooth and soothing yet it has that pop that just makes you want to get up and dance. The version done by David Lee Roth has never been released before. The song is hosted at Jeff Falkowski’s site at http://bit.ly/1TRnR3. I used some “tools” to “extract” it to my computer so I could put it on Tumblr to share with all of you. Enjoy!

U.S. Executions Since 1976:

I was just checking out this cool website that talked about people who’ve been executed since 1976. I found it thanks to a post on Jake Hurwitz’s blog. It’s pretty interesting. It gives the name of course but also what crime they committed, who the victim was, what their last meal was, and what their last words were. I only looked through a few since I just discovered this at 1 AM but some of them had remorse for what they did. I guess when your staring death in the eye you feel like your the size of an any.

Why I’m leaving Digg & focusing primarily on Reddit.:

I saw this story on Digg today. This guy was declaring his independence from Digg and moving to Reddit. He pointed out that Digg no longer has quality and power users can get their stories on the front page no problem, but newer users (like me) have a tougher time. He also complained about all the blogspam. Commenters seemed to agree with him while others decided to flame him and said that Reddit was worse. One commenter noted that Digg was censoring an article about the U.S. Constitution by not putting it on the front page even though it had 1200+ diggs. All of this talk has caused to begin exploring Reddit. I created an account on Reddit a few months back but I found Reddit lacking both style and features. I’ve come back and found that I like it a little more, but the content appears to be the same as Digg. I’ll have to create a seperate post about my thoughts on Reddit. But what do you think? Is it Digg, Reddit, or another social news website? Leave your answer in the comments.
